About The Baron

The Baron Restaurant has been a staple on the landscape of the restaurant business in Abbotsford since the 1960’s.  It was the “go to” place for the intimate off the beaten path dining experience.

In 2010 the restaurant was revitalized, remodeled and reopened as the The Baron.  Close to the Abbotstford Airport and and the Abbotsford TRADEX, we are a refreshing break from the franchised predictable menus in the restaurants in the downtown core.

Our air side patio, the only one in Abbotsford,  allows the diners to be part of the action at the airport.  The excitement of the comings and goings of the helicopter and aircraft traffic make for entertaining energy while sitting in the sun with a cold beverage.

Our menu is simply, home made food.  Our burgers are hand formed fresh, every day and we have heard said, are the best you will find.  Our Pulled Pork Sandwich is one we dare you to try!   The Prosciutto Wrapped Chicken Breast  or the Orange ginger Glazed Mahi-Mahi give an exceptional twist of flavors to our new menu.  Our  Chicken Chorizo Jambalaya Penne, with grilled chicken, chorizo, peppers and mushrooms  is a local favorite. We invite to come come in and see us, and pick your own personal favorite from a menu that includes something for everyone, from outstanding clam chowder, refreshing salads to perfectly grilled steaks (AAA Canadian Beef).
